Briefing on the resumption of work and production in the industrial textiles industry
In order to understand the impact of the “new crown” epidemic on the production and operation of textile enterprises, the ChinaTextile Industry Federation conducted a survey on the resumption of work and production of enterprises in the industry. As of February 19, a total of 106 industrial textiles companies have submitted questionnaires. Among the 106 enterprises, 67 have resumed work, with a resumption rate of 63.2% and a return rate of workers of 56.5%.
Among the companies that have resumed production, raw material companies, product companies and equipment companies in the mask, medical protective clothing, and disinfectant wipes industry chain have basically resumed production. Orders are relatively sufficient, but the start-up situation of companies in other fields is not very satisfactory; the return rate of workers in companies with mainly local employees exceeds 80%, while the return rate of workers in companies with a high proportion of non-local employees is relatively low. The resumption of work and production of large enterprises is significantly better than that of small and medium-sized enterprises. The 15 key enterprises continuously tracked by the China Association of Industry and Commerce have all resumed work, with a return rate of 61% of workers.
The difficulties encountered by enterprises in resuming work and production are mainly: poor flow of materials and personnel caused by traffic control, and rising transportation costs; difficulties for non-local employees to return to work; difficulties in purchasing epidemic prevention materials; insufficient demand and declining orders.
With the stabilization of the epidemic situation in non-Hubei areas and the implementation of various national support policies, the resumption of work and production of enterprises will further improve in the coming week. We will also pay close attention to the resumption of work and production of enterprises, as well as their demands.
Companies are invited to continue to participate in our survey on resumption of work and production. Long press the QR code below to enter the daily questionnaire and fill it out.
