Since the pilot, this new multi-variety, multi-batch and small-volume trade method tailored for small, medium and micro enterprises has developed rapidly. “The export products are mainly textiles, mechanical and electrical products and plastic products, and are exported to 135 countries on six continents.” The relevant person in charge of Shaoxing Customs said that at the same time, it has quickly become a new channel for merchants in China Textile City to actively expand foreign trade.
“Since the beginning of this year, the volume of goods we have exported through LCL through market procurement channels has increased significantly.” Su Miaolian, general manager of Shaoxing Raoji Trading Co., Ltd., said that compared with general trade, customs clearance procedures are simpler and more convenient. Customs clearance conditions and lower export costs have greatly enhanced the competitiveness of foreign trade companies in the dual-circulation development. Through market procurement channels, the company saves logistics costs by nearly 1,000 yuan per box on average, and is expected to reduce costs by more than 1 million yuan in one year.
Since the beginning of this year, with the gradual recovery of the foreign trade market, while corporate orders have increased, they are also facing the dilemma of tight shipping schedules, rising shipping prices at any time, and high logistics costs. In order to improve efficiency and speed up customs clearance, Shaoxing Customs visited relevant enterprises to understand the actual situation, and innovatively launched the “daily clearing, weekly and monthly reminder” system, that is, goods that are normally released will be released in a timely manner and cleared on the same day; for goods subject to control and inspection, Aim to complete the inspection in a timely manner without leaving weekends; and conduct a “review” at the end of each month, summarize a negative list of common customs declaration errors, and report to customs declaration companies and foreign trade companies on a monthly basis to reduce unnecessary detentions caused by operational errors.
