At the Environmental Protection Park of the Xiangnan Textile Industry Base, Wu Lexheng and his party learned about the progress of the project on the spot, and gave guiding suggestions and opinions on the problems and deficiencies that have arisen in the current project advancement.
The Xiangnan Textile Industry Base is a textile and garment industry cluster created by Hunan Province, Hengyang City and Changning City. It is composed of two major parts, the apparel production park and the environmental protection facilities park, and will be constructed in three phases. Among them, the total planned area of the environmental protection facility park is 2,357.25 acres, the first phase planned area is 539 acres, and the total construction area is 476,500 square meters. Introducing the park’s top sewage treatment enterprise CITIC Environment, building a sewage treatment plant and a combined heat and power plant to high standards, integrating washing and printing and dyeing production, water supply, sewage treatment, recycled water utilization, heat and power combined Production, solid waste treatment and resource utilization form a closed loop of circulation, maximizing resource utilization and minimizing pollution emissions. At present, the basic engineering of the first phase of construction has been fully completed, and the construction of supporting projects of the road pipe network is in progress.
