India proposes to promote technology upgrading fund plan during the 12th Five-Year Plan
According to local media reports, the Indian government proposes to promote the Technology Upgrading Fund Scheme (TUFS) during the 12th Five-Year Plan (2012-2017).
The TUFS plan was implemented in 1999 and is conducive to promoting the modernization of all links in the cotton and textile industry chain. The plan has a budget of 158.86 billion rupees (more than US$3 billion) during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, an increase of 3% compared with the 11th Five-Year Plan.
