my country’s cotton imports remain in a “blowout” state
According to customs statistics, in March 2012, my country imported 625,000 tons of cotton, an increase of 1.5% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 126.2%.
Since this year (September 2011-March 2012), my country has imported a total of 3.2414 million tons of cotton, a year-on-year increase of 86.64%; in the first three months of this year, my country has imported a total of 1.5678 million tons of cotton, an increase of 84%.
