Health Canada implements voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas
On April 10, 2012, Health Canada and a number of Canadian companies jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled children’s pajamas include pajama sets and single pajamas, 100% cotton or 100% velvet, in various colors, for both men and women, with specifications of 0-6X and 7-14, “PapaBearLoungeabouts” and bear The pattern is marked on the collar tag, and the product name and logo are marked on the wash label on the inside of the garment. The pajamas have been sold in Canada since 2004.
The number of products recalled this time is unknown. The reason for the recall is that the pajamas do not meet Canadian standards for flame retardancy for children’s clothing. To date, Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents.
For this reason, Health Canada recommends that consumers immediately stop wearing the recalled pajamas and contact the retail store for relevant remediation information.
