Domestic cotton imports increase
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, my country imported 510,000 tons of cotton in April, an increase of 299,000 tons year-on-year, an increase of 142.2%. From January to April, my country imported a total of 2.077 million tons of cotton, a year-on-year increase of 95.5%. As of April, a total of 3.75 million tons of cotton had been imported in the 2011 cotton year, an increase of 1.804 million tons year-on-year, an increase of 92.6%.
