my country’s textile and clothing imports fell slightly
The latest data from the General Administration of Customs shows that in April 2012, my country imported approximately US$1.911 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year decrease of 1.03% and a month-on-month decrease of 9.91%. Among them, imported textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$1.651 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 1.84%, and a month-on-month decrease of 6.04%; imported clothing and clothing accessories were US$260 million, a year-on-year increase of 4.43%, and a month-on-month decrease of 28.54%.
