Egypt exported tons of cotton last week
Egypt’s Alexandria Cotton Exporters Association said on the 11th that it sold 502 tons of cotton last week, including 252 tons of Giza No. 88 cotton and 250 tons of Giza No. 86 cotton.
Egypt’s 2011/2012 cotton season started in September last year. Including this cotton sale, the cotton sales volume this cotton season was 75,773 tons, with a total value of US$237.5 million.
