WTA data shows that from January to February 2012, the EU imported US$21.42 billion in textiles and clothing from outside the EU, a year-on-year decrease of 3.9%. Among them, imports from China were US$9.1 billion, down 4.2%, accounting for 42.5% of the import market. Among the top ten import source countries, imports from Bangladesh grew the fastest, with an increase of 14%, while imports from Turkey, India and Morocco all fell by more than 10%.
