Alar: Cotton field management and pest and disease control need to be strengthened

Alar received a light rain when the “beginning of autumn” solar term arrived, and the “summer heat” subsided.
On the night of August 9, a precipitation weather process occurred in Alar. The precipitation amount during the process was 1.5 mm at the Alar urban station; 0.7 mm at the 10th Regiment 8th Station; and 0.4 mm at the airport station. This precipitation weather process is the first precipitation weather since the “Beginning of Autumn” solar term. The small amount of precipitation at this time will have no adverse effects on crops.

Cotton is in the growth stage of cotton boll fibers, so it is recommended to do a good job in field management and detection and prevention of pests and diseases; 2.
