Terry weaving system

The air-jet towel loom is based on the air-jet loom with the addition of a loop raising mechanism and an upper weaving beam mechanism. In order to meet the technological requirements for weaving towel fabrics, most of the winding mechanisms of air-jet towel looms can realize automatic variable weft density winding. 1. Looping mechanism: Towel fabrics generally have two looping processes: 3-weft looping and 4-weft looping. The so-called 3-weft pick-up refers to taking 3 wefts as a pick-up weft cycle. In the first two wefts of a pick-up weft cycle, the newly inserted weft yarn and the fabric fell maintain a certain distance. The size of this distance determines the height of the pick-up loop. , when the third weft is struck, the three weft yarns hold the wool warp and are driven into the cloth fell along the ground warp. The wool warp is held up under the action of the two clamping points formed by the cloth fell and the three new weft yarns, forming a Terry. The principle of 4 weft looping is the same. The looping mechanism has two looping methods: moving the cloth fell and variable beating stroke. 1. Move the cloth mouth to loop and keep the beating stroke unchanged. The weft yarn that is started to be driven in is kept at a certain distance from the fabric fell. When the last weft of the loop weft cycle is struck, the fabric fell is moved in the direction of the reed, so that several weft yarns in one loop weft cycle are driven into the fabric fell at the same time. , surrounded by hair warps in circles. Then the cloth fell is moved back to the initial position so that the first few wefts in the next weft loop can maintain a certain distance from the cloth fell. The size of the moving distance of the cloth mouth determines the height of the loop, so the height of the loop can be changed by adjusting the movement of the cloth mouth. 2. Change the beating stroke to produce loops, and the position of the cloth mouth remains unchanged. The beating-up stroke before looping is small, so that the driven weft yarn and the cloth fell are kept at a certain distance. When the last weft of the looping cycle is reached, the beating-up stroke becomes larger, which makes several loops in a looping cycle. The weft yarns are driven into the weaving mouth together and surrounded by the warp. The amount of change in the beating stroke determines the level of terry looping. Therefore, the height of the pile loop can be changed by adjusting the variation of the beating stroke. 2. Upper weaving beam let-off mechanism When weaving towel-like fabrics, the warp yarns are divided into pile warp and ground warp, which respectively satisfy the warp yarns for ground weaving and the warp yarns for looping. The tension of the two warp yarns is different, and the length of the spinning yarn consumed during weaving is also different, so the wool warp and the ground warp must be on two weaving beams respectively, and controlled by two sets of let-off mechanisms that stand independently of each other. Usually two sets of let-off mechanisms are arranged up and down. The lower beam let-off mechanism is used to control the ground warp and is an essential mechanism for general looms; the upper beam let-off mechanism is located above the lower beam let-off mechanism and is used for controlling the ground warp. It is a mechanism that increases the let-off amount and tension of the wool warp. Therefore, the upper weaving beam let-off mechanism can also be called the wool warp let-off mechanism. Currently, electronic let-off control is mostly adopted. Its function is to adjust the weft density and pile height of the fabric. During the weaving process, a certain amount of wool warp with a certain tension is sent out to meet the weaving needs. 3. Variable weft density weaving: The weft density of towel fabrics is different at different stages. This requires the winding mechanism to automatically change the winding speed according to the requirements of the fabric during the weaving process. At the same time, the warp let-off mechanism must match the winding speed. Change, appropriately adjust the warp let-off amount, so that variable weft density weaving can be achieved. At present, air-jet towel looms adopt electronic take-up to realize automatic variable weft density weaving function.
