Alar: Cotton sprouts quickly and is expected to be weighed and harvested in early October
In mid-September, high temperatures continued in the Alar region of Xinjiang, and new cotton spun out at an accelerated pace. Up to now, most of the local cotton fields have spun out a large amount of cotton. Affected by the high price opening of some ginners in Xinjiang, cotton farmers have become more enthusiastic about selling cotton this year. They have organized labor to actively pick cotton fields with high linting rates, trying to catch up with the best period of high price opening.
At present, all the ginners in the area have completed equipment maintenance and test runs. Some ginners around Alar that hold cotton cotton orders have purchased hand-picked cotton sporadically, with the purchase price of 10-10.5 yuan/kg.
