Recently, more than 5,700 acres of machine-picked cotton in the 7th Company of the 16th Regiment has begun to pick.
In order to further implement the cotton quality improvement work and improve the cotton quality market competitiveness, a value orientation centered on improving cotton quality has been established. In early September, the company organized employee representatives to conduct on-site inspections of the main cotton varieties grown in the company’s jurisdiction, and widely publicized outstanding cotton varieties such as Tahe No. 2, Xinluzhong 85, and Yuanmian No. 8. At the same time, strict attention will be paid to cotton topping, defoliant spraying and other tasks.
Entering the cotton harvesting period, the “two committees” personnel went deep into the fields to supervise and promote production safety, and checked on-site whether the registration procedures for cotton picking machines were complete, whether the safety measures at the picking site were in place, and whether the quality of machine picking was up to standard, etc. Ensure safe production during cotton harvesting period.
