Antibacterial fabric performance testing and standards:

Polyester antibacterial fabrics and nylon antibacterial fabrics have a special quality testing index, which is antibacterial efficacy. Regarding the determination of antibacterial efficacy, domestic and foreign scholars have proposed a variety of evaluation experimental methods, but they all have some shortcomings and have certain limitations in their scope of application. Antibacterial agents can be roughly divided into two types: the dissolving type (the antibacterial agent on the fabric can slowly dissolve in water) and the non-dissolving type (the antibacterial agent is combined with the fiber and cannot be dissolved). The corresponding representative antibacterial performance testing methods are: GB15979 -2002 Hygiene Standard for Disposable Hygiene Products, also known as the “shaking flask method”, is applicable to textiles produced with non-leaching antibacterial agents. This test will test the antibacterial rate of antibacterial polyester fabrics respectively.

(1) Principle of testing of polyester antibacterial fabrics and nylon antibacterial fabrics

The oscillating flask method is to inoculate a certain concentration of bacterial solution on the sample, increase the contact between the antibacterial test substance and the test bacteria through long-term strong oscillation, and compare the changes in the number of colonies in the sample before and after oscillation to evaluate the antibacterial fabric performance.

(2) Evaluation criteria for polyester antibacterial fabrics and nylon antibacterial fabrics

According to GB 15979-2002, if the difference between the antibacterial rate of the tested sample set and the control sample set is greater than 26%, it can be judged that the product has antibacterial effect. Through research, experimental testing and analysis, it has been shown that antibacterial fabrics using antibacterial polyester fabric fibers have good antibacterial effects. The antibacterial fabric content in the fabric has a great impact on the antibacterial effect of the fabric. In terms of the percentage of fiber content in the fabric, In terms of antibacterial rate, the fabric has a better antibacterial effect, while the antibacterial polyester fabric has a closer antibacterial effect.

(3) Test results of polyester antibacterial fabric and nylon antibacterial fabric

Anti-mite performance test results: The test results show that the anti-mite and antibacterial fabrics have a repellent rate of more than 99% against dust mites, leather mites and chiggers. Antimicrobial spectrum test results: The results show that the anti-mite antibacterial finished fabric can completely kill Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Bacillus cereus, Streptococcus, pneumococcus, meningococcus, gonococcus, Escherichia coli, and Shigella dysenteriae , typhoid bacilli, pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus subtilis, Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton gypsum, Candida albicans, Penicillium, Aspergillus niger and other harmful bacteria.

Anti-mite and antibacterial fabrics are resistant to washing: after 50 washes, the repellent rate against dust mites, leather mites and chiggers is over 95%. Neisseria gonorrhoeae (941748 domestic epidemic strains), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (WHO Q6 international standard drug-resistant strain), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6389), Escherichia coli (ATCC 8099), Candida albicans (ATCC l0231), Microsporum gypsum , Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton rubrum, Bacillus subtilis black variant spores (ATCC 9372), etc. do not grow at all on antibacterial fabrics that have not been washed or washed 30, 50, and 100 times, and the antibacterial rate is over 99% , this anti-mite and antibacterial finishing cloth has excellent washing resistance.
