The national textile intangible cultural heritage tie-dye vocational skills finals were held in Nantong
The finals of the National Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Tie-Dyeing Vocational Skills Invitational Competition lasted for two days and ended in Hai’an on October 13.
Tie-dye is an important category among my country’s traditional textile crafts. A total of 41 people from 15 companies and 26 colleges and universities across the country entered the finals of this competition. The final is divided into two parts: written test and design and production. The contestants independently produce a tie-dyed T-shirt and a tie-dyed fiber art work according to the theme.
In recent years, Haian has been committed to promoting the protection, inheritance and innovative development of textile intangible cultural heritage skills. “Haian Tie-Dyeing Skills” has been included in the Jiangsu Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage List, and has national artistic dyeing and modern tie-dye product development Base and a series of golden signs.
