In 2020, Xinjiang’s cotton output reached 5.161 million tons, accounting for 87.3% of China’s total output. According to this year’s output and Price, excluding seeds, fertilizers and other expenses, I can make a profit of about 320,000 yuan this year, and my income is much higher than last year.” Aimaier Smayi said, “I have been growing cotton for many years and mechanized cotton cultivation. It really changed my life.”
At present, Xinjiang’s cotton target price policy is steadily advancing. More than 37.52 million acres of cotton will be planted in 2020. Cotton planting area, total output and commodity transfer volume have ranked first for 27 consecutive years. Ranking first in China.
