The 2021 Zhejiang Textile Industry Spinner Skills Competition was held

Shi Yuwu, a second-level inspector of the Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, Dai Dirong, a second-level inspector of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology and Party Secretary of the Provincial Economic and Information Industry Association, and a second-level surveyor of the Consumer Goods Industry Division of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology Liu Weilong, member of the Zhejiang Provincial Textile Industry Association and Party Building Instructor of the Provincial Textile Industry Association, Chen Yunfei, deputy director of the Small and Medium Enterprise Service Center of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and deputy director of the Party Committee Office of the Provincial Economic and Information Industry Association, Sun Boyong, President of the Zhejiang Provincial Textile Industry Association, Party Secretary of the Quzhou Federation of Trade Unions , Executive Vice Chairman Xu Xiongqiang, Deputy Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Party Leadership Group of Longyou County CPPCC and Chairman of the County Federation of Trade Unions Lu Min, Chairman of Zhejiang Huafei Light Textile Co., Ltd. Zheng Yongfei and relevant leaders of the 2021 Zhejiang Textile Industry Spinner Skills Competition Organizing Committee , more than 100 people including athletes, coaches, team leaders and referees from cities across the province attended the opening and closing ceremonies. The opening and closing ceremonies were hosted by Chen Shourong, Secretary General of Zhejiang Textile Industry Association.

Lu Min, deputy secretary and vice-chairman of the Longyou County Political Consultative Conference Party Group and chairman of the County Federation of Trade Unions, delivered a speech. The Longyou County Party Committee and County Government attach great importance to the development of the traditional textile industry, and the county’s textile industry has shown a good momentum of prosperity and stability. At present, there are 25 large-scale enterprises in the textile industry in Longyou County, accounting for 8.6% of the county’s large-scale output value in 2020. It is hoped that through a series of textile skills competition activities, the majority of employees will be guided to love their jobs, study hard and practice hard, strive to become the technical vanguard of the textile industry, and provide support for the highquality development of Zhejiang Province Highly skilled talent support.

Xu Xiongqiang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Executive Vice Chairman of Quzhou Federation of Trade Unions, issued letters of appointment to the chief referee and referees.

Han Xihong, the referee representative, Zhejiang Wanzhou Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Qu Weihong, the athlete representative, Zhejiang Huafei Light Textile Co., Ltd., took the oath respectively.

Shi Yuwu, a second-level inspector of the Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, said that this competition is to accelerate the construction of a team of skilled talents in the textile industry in Zhejiang Province, further promote the spirit of craftsman, and increase the number of knowledge-based, skill-based, and professional talents in the textile industry. Cultivating innovative talents is an important measure to improve the overall level of the textile industry in Zhejiang Province, promote high-quality development of the textile industry, and enhance the competitiveness of the industry.

The competition is divided into two parts: theory (should know) examination and practical operation (should know) assessment. The theoretical examination takes the form of a closed book examination. For many front-line operators, reviewing basic knowledge and entering the examination room again is a rare experience.

The practical competition centered on the two types of pipe jointing and roving replacement projects: T/R (70/30) 40-count and T/R (70/30) 32-count.

After fierce competition, all events were successfully completed. 31 contestants including Zheng Lijun won the Excellence Award.

Sun Boyong said that the textile industry is an important pillar industry of my country’s national economy and people’s livelihood industry, and is one of the traditional advantageous industries of Zhejiang Province. This competition is a centralized review of the professional skills of spinners in the textile industry in Zhejiang Province. It is of great significance in motivating textile workers to learn skills, work hard, and promote the improvement of skill levels in the entire industry.

As the co-organizer of this competition, Zhejiang Huafei Textile Co., Ltd.’s on-site management, advanced equipment, high-quality products and dazzling canteen have been praised by the participants.

According to the spirit of relevant documents, the top three players in the all-around will be named “Zhejiang Golden Blue Collar” after approval.
