At the beginning of this year, the Jiangsu Province Textile Technology Standards Innovation Base was approved for construction. The undertaking unit Jiangsu Sunshine Group Co., Ltd. is the first company in the country to assume the secretariat of the International Organization for Standardization Textile Committee (ISO/TC38). It is also responsible for national textile standardization. Secretariat of the Committee’s Wool Worsted Sub-Technical Committee (SAC/TC209/SC8). During the preparation period, it joined forces with Jiangnan University, Jiangsu Textile Engineering Society, Jiangsu Textile Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, Suzhou University and Jiangsu Guowang High-tech Fiber Co., Ltd. to implement government-industry-university-research cooperation across the entire textile industry chain and strengthen technical standards. Co-construction and sharing of innovative resources. At present, the innovation base has completed 5 provincial-level new products such as cut-free knitted suits, applied for 67 patents, including 31 invention patents, and presided over the formulation and revision of 1 international standard. One enterprise standard, one group standard, and two industry standards have been submitted for approval and are awaiting release. Base construction is progressing in an orderly manner.
