Shaoxing promotes cross-regional integration of printing and dyeing enterprises, and the printing and dyeing group goes into production in the “new home”
On the 31st, Shaoxing City’s first cross-regional printing and dyeing group, the Zhejiang Colorful Rainbow Printing and Dyeing Group project, was put into operation in the printing and dyeing cluster area of Keqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shaoxing. After the project is put into operation, it will have an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of yarn and 106,800 tons (392 million meters) of printing and dyeing fabrics.
Zhejiang Colorful Rainbow Printing and Dyeing Group is formed by the integration of three companies including Colorful Rainbow, Huashen Textile Finishing, and Dushu Printing and Dyeing. It is one of the five printing and dyeing groups settled in Keqiao Printing and Dyeing Cluster. The project covers an area of 79 acres. Construction officially started in March last year. Before the merger and reorganization, these three companies were located in different locations in Yuecheng District. Cross-domain integration of industries is Shaoxing’s innovative move. Due to long-term extensive development, Shaoxing’s printing and dyeing industry has been plagued by high energy consumption, high costs, and high pollution. At the end of 2018, the Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government took the lead in launching an unusual “industrial migration” road in China, moving the city’s printing and dyeing and chemical industries to Keqiao District and Shangyu District in an orderly manner.
Relocation is not translation, quality improvement is the goal. The Zhejiang Colorful Rainbow Printing and Dyeing Group Project took this opportunity to eliminate outdated equipment and purchase a batch of world-leading printing and dyeing equipment. The “Smart Printing and Dyeing” platform of Zhejiang Colorful Rainbow Printing and Dyeing Group has functions such as intelligent production monitoring, intelligent scheduling, and intelligent dyeing. The reporter saw at the scene that the working status, temperature changes, production fabric information, etc. of each dye vat were displayed in real time on the large screen, as well as energy consumption such as water, electricity, and steam. “After the platform is put into use, production efficiency will be increased by 30%, and labor costs and energy consumption will be reduced by about 20%.” Zhang Yongxing, director of the office of Zhejiang Colorful Rainbow Technology Co., Ltd., said that workers now only need to set up standards and requirements to achieve production, which is a great development Improved production environment. In addition, the new factory also introduced an ERP system, which can intervene in the production situation of the weaving workshop in real time, dynamically adjust the production plan, and conduct real-time analysis and traceability of productquality.
After more than a year of hard work, 5 printing and dyeing groups composed of 32 printing and dyeing enterprises planned to be relocated have settled in Keqiao Binhai Industrial Zone, with a total investment of more than 5 billion yuan . Except for the Zhejiang Colorful Rainbow Printing and Dyeing Group, the remaining four groups have completed the construction of factories and comprehensive buildings and are expected to be completed and put into operation before the end of January 2022.
The improvement of industrial agglomeration has freed up space for development. According to statistics, through “cross-domain integration”, the two major industries of printing and dyeing and chemical industry have vacated more than 10,000 acres of land and saved more than 4,000 acres of land. The relevant person in charge of Shaoxing Economic and Information Bureau said that the vacated land will be transformed and developed in accordance with the orientation of green, high-end, urban and international industries to further strengthen the two major industries of integrated circuits and biomedicine. At present, the integrated circuit and biopharmaceutical industries have been included in the province’s “10,000 acres and 100 billion” platform, accelerating the transformation of low-end block economies into advanced industrial clusters.
