Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center won the title of “Advanced Unit of Textile Measurement in 2021”
From October 28th to 29th, the 2021 Annual Meeting of the National Textile Metrology Technical Committee was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu. The Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center won the title of “Advanced Unit for Textile Measurement in 2021”, and 1 person won the title of “Engaged in Textile Measurement” “Medal of Honor for Technical Committee Members with more than 20 years of metrology work” and “Advanced Individuals in Textile Metrology Work in 2021”. Members of the Textile Metrology Technical Committee and specially invited experts from national textile metrology technical institutions, calibration and testing institutions, instrument companies and other units attended the meeting, and the Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center sent experts to attend the meeting.
The meeting summarized the textile measurement work in 2021 and the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan“, combined with the “Textile Industry “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” Development Outline” and technology, fashion, Green development guidance, as well as the development status of the textile industry, scientific and technological development, and dual-carbon green development, made an in-depth analysis of the domestic and international situations faced by metrology work, and made arrangements for the next stage of textile metrology work. The meeting awarded honorary medals to 16 committee members who have been engaged in textile measurement work for more than 20 years, and commended the annual advanced units and annual advanced individuals. Nine textile measurement calibration specifications were reviewed and approved at this meeting. The textile measurement calibration specification “Calibration Specification for Fabric Universal Abrasion Performance Tester” led by the Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center passed the review.
During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, the Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center actively carried out textile metrology research to provide support for the construction of textile professional metrology institutions, talent training, and the formulation and revision of metrology technical specifications. A lot of basic work has been done in instrument calibration and verification, and outstanding achievements have been made. We have compiled a color fastness tester to sunlight and climate, a textile drum dryer, a fabric water resistance tester, a light yellowing color fastness tester, a textile UV protection tester, a fabric moisture permeability tester, and a fabric anti-drilling tester. It has 12 textile industry calibration specifications such as performance testers and vibrating wire fiber fineness meters, and maintains 14 public measurement standards for textile society. It has been awarded the honor of the National Advanced Unit of Textile Measurement and Advanced Individual for many times.
