Night inspection of textile enterprises: Shengze strictly focuses on environmental protection and does not relax

Recently, a joint inspection team composed of Suzhou Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, Wujiang Ecological Environment Bureau, and Shengze Town Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau divided into four groups and included 14 companies in Shengze Town on the list of time-limited rectification of pollution discharge licenses. enterprises conducted joint night inspections to severely crack down on illegal pollution discharges.

That night, the joint law enforcement officers first came to Suzhou Fanqing Textile Finishing Co., Ltd. This company is located on Shunxin South Road and is mainly engaged in solvent-based composite production. It is reported that this enterprise belongs to the category of rectification enterprises of pollution discharge license. The rectification period has expired on October 22, but it has not completed the rectification within the period and should be in a state of suspension.

During the on-site inspection, law enforcement officers found that the company’s two compound machines were in production, and the exhaust gas treatment device was not turned on. The solvent-based glue barrel in the workshop was not sealed, and the unorganized exhaust gas was severely volatilized.

The joint law enforcement officers immediately made an on-site record of the person in charge of the company and ordered the company to immediately stop production and wait for further processing.

Among the 14 companies inspected that night, law enforcement officers found Suzhou Fanqing Textile Finishing Co., Ltd., Suzhou Yanxing Textile Finishing Co., Ltd., Suzhou Hanye Textile Finishing Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Like Textile Technology Co., Ltd. Four companies ignored earlier notices ordering rectification and continued production operations without a license to discharge pollutants. Later, relevant departments will further deal with these companies based on the inspection results.

Recently, Shengze Town has carried out irregular inspections on illegal pollution discharge behavior of enterprises for many times. Next, Shengze Town will also launch a town-wide special joint enforcement action on pollution discharge licenses, focusing on cracking down on environmental violations of unlicensed pollution discharges. At the same time, it will take compulsory measures such as power outages against companies that refuse to mend their ways despite repeated admonitions to ensure that relevant companies complete their rectification work. Promote pollution reduction and environmental quality improvement, effectively prevent environmental risks, and promote sustained and healthy economic and social development.
