The Comprehensive Textile Printing and Dyeing Environmental Protection Processing Center in Chaonan District, Shantou City has become the only one in eastern Guangdong selected into the first batch of featured industrial parks in Guangdong Province

In order to implement the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government’s recommendations on promoting highquality development in the manufacturing industry and cultivating and developing strategic pillarindustries As for the work deployment of clusters and strategic emerging industry clusters, recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, together with relevant provincial departments, organized and carried out the application review process for the first batch of characteristic industrial parks. After recommendation by the municipal people’s government at or above the local level, expert review, on-site inspection, publicity and other procedures, a total of 19 characteristic industrial parks have been reviewed in the province.
