The Nanhai army uses an iron fist to rectify the backward production capacity of Xiqiao textile printing and dyeing

The textile industry is a traditional industry in Xiqiao Town. How to continue its industrial advantages in the context of high quality development in the new era? It is a feasible path to promote the overall transformation and upgrading of the industry by improving remediation standards and eliminating backward production capacity.

According to the work arrangements of the district committee and the district government, the Nanhai District Joint Law Enforcement Team organized more than 60 law enforcement officers from the district and town on the morning of January 10 to carry out joint law enforcement operations in Xiqiao Town using iron means and strong measures. Promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries in Xiqiao by eliminating enterprises with backward production capacity. This joint law enforcement operation in Nanhai District is a powerful measure to implement the feedback from the central environmental protection inspection, strengthen the comprehensive land management in Xiqiao, and optimize the ecological space for production and living.

“Start taking action!” At about 9:30 in the morning, following the order from the leader of the Nanhai District Joint Law Enforcement Attack Team, district and town law enforcement officers were divided into two groups to conduct law enforcement inspections. The main leaders and leaders in charge of Xiqiao Town Committee and Town Government accompanied and participated in the operation.

The first group of law enforcement officers first came to a textile printing and dyeing enterprise in Baixi. The inspection found that the enterprise had major safety hazards that urgently needed to be rectified immediately, such as fire-fighting facilities. Problems such as deficiencies, illegal offices in the workshop, lack of effective physical separation between warehouses and workshops, and illegal use of special equipment. Subsequently, law enforcement officers went to a nearby printing and dyeing enterprise and found that there were suspected storage of hazardous chemicals in non-dedicated warehouses and damaged fire hydrants. The second group of law enforcement officers came to another printing and dyeing enterprise in Haizhou and found that the production workshop was filled with bursts of printing and dyeing odor. After inspection, it was found that the company’s waste gas emissions exceeded the standard and the storage of industrial solid waste was not standardized. In addition, there are also problems such as energy consumption exceeding the limit standard, corporate income tax returns being low, and the number of insured persons not matching the actual number. In response to the above problems, district law enforcement officers will handle them accordingly in accordance with the law.

During the operation, the Nanhai District Joint Law Enforcement Team remained at the forefront, taking the lead in identifying themselves, inspecting and discovering problems, and proposing rectification requirements, and clearly supported the work of Xiqiao Town. According to statistics, the law enforcement teams of the Nanhai District Joint Law Enforcement Team inspected 3 companies and found 87 problems (hidden dangers). They distributed 20 various law enforcement documents, produced 2 on-site inspection records, sealed 2 companies, and implemented a power outage in 1 company. .

In the next stage, the Nanhai District Joint Law Enforcement Team will continue to support Xiqiao Town in implementing enterprise rectification and improvement, and will relocate or close enterprises with backward production capacity in batches in accordance with the law.
