At the meeting, Director Yu Huaxian of the Municipal Sericulture Headquarters made a detailed report on the reconstruction of the municipal sericulture and silk industry statistical platform from aspects such as core economic statistical indicators, statistical methods, and statistical report systems. Experts and scholars put forward constructive opinions on grasping macro policies, optimizing and streamlining statistical indicators, strengthening district and county surveys, and improving informatization levels. They also professionally explained knowledge in statistical methods, statistical systems, and statistical indicator design.
Deputy Director Peng Heliang fully affirmed the progress of this work and emphasized that the statistical platform for the sericulture and silk industry should be rebuilt to integrate statistics on the entire industry chain, so that the development characteristics and advantages of the industry can be reflected in “added value, total output, taxation, Profit, Employment” and other data speak for themselves, allowing more people to see the power and future of the sericulture and silk industry. He requested that, first, we should scientifically and concisely design core statistical indicators, work hard on “added value” and “total output”, further determine the standards of the sericulture and silk industry, and clarify core indicators such as taxation, profits, and employment. The second is to promote statistical work by layer and classification, strengthen exchanges and learning with the Municipal Bureau of Statistics, the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee and other units, and jointly research and design statistical standards, statistical frameworks, statistical indicators, and statistical methods that are consistent with the actual production of the sericulture and silk industry. . The third is to strengthen the pilot demonstration of statistical work, and then promote the use of statistical platforms throughout the city, so that statistical work can better serve the highquality development of the sericulture and silk industry.
