According to China Customs statistics, the national fabric import and export volume in 2015 was 42.15 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%; the import and export volume was US$61.16 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.9%. The export price of cotton cloth decreased, to 1.69 US dollars/meter, a slight decrease of 0.1%; the export prices of silk woven fabrics, wool animal hair woven fabrics and chemical fiber fabrics all decreased, to 5.62 US dollars/meter, 7.41 US dollars/meter and 1.12 US dollars respectively.
