Vietnam ranks among the top five textile exporters in the world
In 2015, Vietnam’s textile industry export volume reached US$27.2 billion, a strong increase of 10%, ranking firmly among the top five textile exporters in the world. After the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TTP) officially came into effect, Vietnam’s textile industry was evaluated as one of the areas that benefited the most from it. The Vietnamese government is committed to helping the textile industry cope with new challenges, updating tax, customs, standards and other relevant regulations, promulgating policies to promote the development of supporting industries, linen fiber textiles, printing and dyeing and other fields, and striving to achieve the goal of increasing textile exports by 8% in 2016 .
