1. Exports to the United States grew steadily, while exports to other major markets declined
From January to December, home textile exports to the United States grew steadily, with an export volume of US$7.34 billion, an increase of 5.2%, accounting for 27.8% of the country’s total home textile exports. Home textile exports to the three major markets of the EU, Japan and ASEAN are all showing a downward trend. Among them, exports to Japan continued to fall sharply, with an export value of US$2.64 billion, a decrease of 14%, accounting for 10% of the country’s total home textile exports; exports to the EU and ASEAN markets declined slightly, with export values ​​of US$4.4 billion and US$2.27 billion respectively, with declines of respectively They were 5.1% and 1.3%, accounting for 16.7% and 8.6% of the country’s home textile exports respectively.
Among other markets, exports to Australia grew steadily, with an increase of 5.9%, while exports to Russia fell sharply, with a decrease of 63.9%.
2. Eastern provinces and cities are relatively stable, and Guangdong is growing against the trend
Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shanghai and Guangdong are the top five provinces and cities in home textile exports. Among them, the exports of the top four provinces and cities all showed a slight downward trend, with a decrease of between 1% and 3.5%. Guangdong’s exports bucked the trend and grew significantly, with an increase of 21.5%.
In addition, home textile exports in central and western provinces and cities have generally fallen sharply, with exports from Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and other provinces and cities falling by more than 50%.
