Although domestic cotton prices have increased slightly recently, the sales price of downstream cotton yarn has not increased. The main reason is that although there is a gap in high-grade cotton, low-grade cotton (suitable for spinning less than 32 yarns) Cotton supply still exceeds demand.
The recent price inversion of imported yarn has also caused trouble to domestic traders. Coupled with the Federal Reserve raising interest rates, the risk of RMB exchange rate depreciation is increasing.
Whether the cotton yarn market can reverse after a long-term bear market depends on whether downstream demand picks up.
On the contrary, with the further decline of the exchange rate, the oversupply situation of cotton and cotton yarn will exist for a long time, and the risks of yarn procurement and sales will become greater and greater. The market outlook is worrying. It is recommended to reduce inventory and buy as you need.
