Cambodia receives US Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) again

The Cambodian Ministry of Commerce held a press conference on the 6th and stated that Cambodia continues to receive the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) from the United States. Minister of Commerce Pan Sosa, U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia William A. Heidt, and President of the Cambodian Garment Manufacturers Association Wen Shuyang attended the press conference.

Minister Bansusa said that this policy will help Cambodia increase exports and promote industrialization and economic development. Cambodia will continue to receive the GSP treatment from the United States, which will attract more investors to invest in Cambodia, thereby providing Cambodia creates more job opportunities and even drives the country’s economic development.
