Vietnam imports 10,000 tons of lint cotton, with U.S. cotton accounting for the largest share
In June 2016, Vietnam imported 75,900 tons of lint cotton. By that month, Vietnam had imported a total of 910,700 tons of lint cotton in 2015/16, 65% of which were imported by foreign-funded textile enterprises. In June last year, Vietnam imported 94,800 tons of lint cotton. By last year, Vietnam had imported 94,800 tons of lint cotton. The cumulative import volume during the same period was 844,000 tons, 69% of which was imported by foreign-funded textile enterprises.
