Pakistan’s textile product exports continue to decline
According to Pakistan’s “Express Forum” report on May 23, Pakistan’s textile product exports continued to decline in the first 10 months of the 2016/17 fiscal year (July 2016 to May 2017), with an export volume of US$10.296 billion, a year-on-year decrease 0.92%. Data show that exports of important textile products have declined to varying degrees. Among them, cotton yarn exports were US$1.042 billion, down 3.68% year-on-year; cotton cloth exports were US$1.771 billion, down 5.73%; yarn exports were US$20.169 million, down 29.48%; knitwear exports were US$1.925 billion, down 0.17%; towel products exports were US$642 million. , down 4.38%.
