Colombia makes preliminary anti-dumping ruling on Chinese denim and adopts temporary anti-dumping measures

The Colombian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism issued Resolution No. 205 on November 23, 2017, making a preliminary ruling on anti-dumping investigations into denim originating in China. The products involved (tax numbers 5209.42.00.00, 5209.49.00.00, 5211.42. 00.00, 5211.49.00.00) sets a base price of US$4.63/kg. When the customs declaration FOB price is lower than the base price, the tax levied is the difference between the two prices. The above measures will take effect from the date of official announcement (November 27) and will last for 6 months.
