According to customs statistics, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing in December 2017 were approximately US$24.016 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.49% and a month-on-month increase of 3.90%. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$10.161 billion, a year-on-year increase of 10.98%, and a month-on-month increase of 1.72%; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$13.855 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.96%, and a month-on-month increase of 5.55%.
In 2017, my country’s total exports of textiles and apparel totaled US$266.95 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1.53%. Among them, exports of textiles were US$109.771 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%; exports of clothing were US$157.178 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.4%.
