In 2021, the XPCC’s cotton sowing area was 13.052 million acres, with a total production of 2.083 million tons of lint cotton. It accounted for 28.73% of the country’s cotton sowing area and produced 36.35% of the country’s lint cotton.
The Corps has issued the “Cotton Quality Improvement Action Plan” and other measures to pay close attention to the quality management of the entire cotton industry chain and promote the high-quality development of the Corps’ cotton industry.
