Xunyang City Supply and Marketing Cooperative in Shaanxi Province carries out technical training on sericulture industry
The sericulture industry is a traditional industry in Xunyang City with a long history of development. With the long-term production practice accumulation of the majority of sericulture farmers, a profound sericulture cultural heritage has been accumulated, creating unique industrial advantages. In recent years, in order to effectively increase the enthusiasm of sericulture farmers in raising sericulture, the Xunyang City Supply and Marketing Cooperative and the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau have carried out sericulture technology training in many towns and villages to effectively increase people’s income.
Since the beginning of the spring of 2022, a total of 20 sericulture technology training sessions have been carried out in Zhaowan Supply and Marketing Cooperative, Xiaohe Supply and Marketing Cooperative, Ganxi Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and Zongxi Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and “Introduction to Labor-Saving and Cost-Saving Sericulture Technology” and “Sericulture Cocoon Production” have been issued Practical Methods” and other materials, more than 1,500 sericulture farmers were trained, and more than 130,000 yuan of support materials (38 tons of chemical fertilizers, 20 tons of sterilized lime, 500 dry and wet thermometers, 550 mulberry shears, and 200 bottles of disinfectants). Through questions asked by sericulture farmers and answered by experts on the spot, the enthusiasm of sericulture farmers to develop sericulture and raise sericulture was effectively improved, laying a solid foundation for a good start in sericulture production in spring.
Technical training will continue until seeding in spring, which will benefit more sericulture farmers.
