Alar Economic Development Zone has earmarked hundreds of millions of funds to support the development of textile and garment enterprises
In order to promote the smooth operation of textile and garment enterprises in the area, Alar Economic Development Zone has recently allocated a total of 110 million yuan in special funds for the textile and garment industry for 27 enterprises in the area in 2022.
During the application process for special funds for the textile and apparel industry, Alar Economic Development Zone took the initiative to strengthen services and coordination between upper and lower levels, classify and guide enterprises that meet the application standards to prepare basic information, and provide pre-job training and social security subsidies for textile and apparel enterprises in 2022 Subsidies will be provided to enterprises that meet the conditions for eight items including transportation costs, outbound freight, etc. Currently, all funds have been allocated in advance.
Xinjiang Douglas Textile Technology Co., Ltd. upgraded its standard in December 2021 and received more than 4 million yuan in subsidy funds this time. “This money has solved our urgent need. With this subsidy fund, we are more confident to run production at full capacity and go all out to enhance the competitiveness of the company.” Ding Xiandong, general manager of the company, said happily.
Compared with previous years, the scope of enterprises pre-allocated in Alar Economic and Technological Development Zone this year is the largest number of enterprises in recent years, which has effectively alleviated the liquidity pressure of textile and garment enterprises.
In the next step, Alar Economic Development Zone will make full use of the existing industrial support policies of the Corps, divisions and cities, actively strive for superior funds, and focus on the goal of “promoting stability, delivering policies, solving problems, and stabilizing growth”. Strengthen services for enterprises and fully promote the sustainable, healthy and high-quality development of textile and garment industries such as labor-intensive industries in the city.
