Xinjiang: Suitable temperature for cotton sowing ahead of schedule
Weather overview: The average temperature in Alar City, Xinjiang in late March was 10.2 degrees Celsius, which was 1.0 degrees Celsius lower than the same period in previous years. The current daily average temperature has stabilized at 11.9 degrees Celsius. On March 28, the ground temperature within 5cm of the membrane in the Ertuan area, Alar area, Shilituan area, etc. has stably passed ≥14 degrees Celsius, 14 days earlier than last year. Mu of diluted spray cotton fields were sealed. 3. When sowing, manual work must be strengthened to follow the machine. When the seeder leaks the film, workers should compact it with soil in time to avoid blowing up the film when the wind comes, affecting the emergence of cotton seedlings.
