Two scientific and technological achievements in Sichuan’s cocoon and silk industry won the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award
Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government held the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Award Conference, and two scientific and technological achievements in Sichuan’s cocoon silk industry won the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
The “high-grade cocoon silk” jointly completed by five units including Nanchong Silkworm Breeding Farm of Sichuan Province, Sericulture Research Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Sericulture Management Station of Sichuan Province, Mianyang Tianhong Silk Co., Ltd., and Xichang Cocoon Silk Corporation The scientific and technological achievements of “Silkworm Breeding and Integrated Promotion of Supporting Technologies” won the second prize of the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award; “Sichuan Silk Science Research Institute Co., Ltd., Sichuan Silk Engineering Technology Research Center, and Sichuan Antai Cocoon Silk Group Co., Ltd. jointly completed The scientific and technological achievements of “New Technology and Application of Silk Making for Improving Quality and Reducing Consumption” won the third prize of the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
